We are located in the hamlet of La Perroterie, 2Km from the medieval town of Duras (with its shops, restaurants, bars etc). We are situated 70Km east of Bordeaux and 35Km south west of Bergerac, in the beautiful region of Lot & Garonne within the province of Aquitaine, FRANCE

We are easy to find and travel from the UK and other european locations is not usually difficult, time consuming or expensive. Some helpful options are:-

Air

We are a 35 minute drive from Bergerac International Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux International Airport.

Bergerac Airport is served with flights operated by RyanAir and Flybe from London Stansted, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Exeter & Nottingham. Flight times can be found at Bergerac International Airport.

Rail

For those of you who prefer to let the train take the strain, TGV Trains serve Bordeaux and Libourne. Paris is only 3 Hours away, whilst London St. Pancras via the Eurostar is only 6 hours 45 minutes.

Road

We are approximately a 6 hours drive from the cross channel ferry ports of Saint Malo, Caen and Le Harve or 7 hours from Cherbourg. Cross channel operators to these ports include Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries, LD Lines and Irish Ferries. Alternatively you may wish to us the Channel Tunnel via Eurotunnel.

Transfers

We are able to arrange transport for all our guests to and from the airports of Bergerac and Bordeaux, as well as to the train stations of Marmande, Libourne, and Bordeaux. Costs to be agreed dependent on numbers.

Car Hire

Alternatively you may wish to hire a car upon your arrival in France. Operators who hire cars from the local airports and main line stations include Avis, Hertz, Budget and Eurocar.
